Who we are
Edenclaytarget, on behalf of Eden Clay Target Shooting Academy and Nature's Way Target Club. Each club is a separate responsible party with its own Information Officer: Eden Clay Target Shooting Academy: Eden club secretary [TBC]; Nature's Way Target Club: Nature's Way club secretary [TBC]. Contact either at info@edenacademy.co.za. Your application is only seen by the committee of the club you apply to.
What we collect
Bookings: name, email, phone, group size. Membership: name, ID/passport number, date of birth, contact details, address and competency status. On-site: the visitor register and CCTV at the range.
Why
To arrange visits, assess and manage memberships, meet firearm-range legal obligations, and keep people safe.
Who can see it
Only committee members who need it. Register records at Nature's Way are kept by the farm stall on the club's behalf. We never sell your information.
How long we keep it
Booking requests: 12 months. Membership records: while you are a member plus [TBC] years. Declined applications: deleted after 6 months. CCTV: [TBC] days.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to its use, by contacting the Information Officer. You may also complain to the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za).
Security
Applications are stored in an access-controlled database, not sent by email.
